From creating an account to your first scan — connect the app to Webflow step by step.

Create an account at webflowoptimizer.pl using your email and a password.

Confirm your account via the link in the email, then open the app.

Log in to the Webflow website whose images you intend to optimize.

Find the site whose images you want to optimize.

Duplicate the site — a recommended backup, just in case.

Make sure the duplicated site appears in the list.

Open the settings of the site whose images you want to optimize.

Make sure the site is published.

Go to the “General” tab.

Scroll to the bottom, find the “Site ID”, select it and copy it.

In the WebflowOptimizer app, click “Add Site”, enter any site name and paste the Site ID into the “Webflow Site ID” field.

In the Webflow dashboard, go to “Apps & Integrations”.

Scroll to the bottom and click “Generate API token”.

Name the token WebflowOptimizer, set only the 3 required permissions and click “Generate token”.

Click the button to copy the token.

Back in the app, paste the token into the “Webflow API token” field and click “Save site”.

Return to Webflow and click “Hide token forever”.

Go to the “Dashboard” tab and click the button to start the scan.

Wait for the scan results to appear.

Set the language for the generated alt texts and filenames.

Set the image compression level and maximum width.

Check that the “last finished scan” value has appeared.

Check that your site’s images appear in the “Images” tab.
